After 70AD, Jesus is NO LONGER a Heavenly Comforter

Jerry Bernard "After His resurrection, Jesus told His disciples that He would go away for a while and while He was away, He would send a Comforter to be with them in His absence, that is, until He returned. His presence returned in AD 70 and God is "all IN ALL" now. There is no need for a second Comforter after the return or Parousia. God has been here with us and in us ever since A.D. 70. There is no need for Christ to have another Comforter to stay by each suffering Christian while Christ was away. For Christ returned, ending the whole salvation process. and then submitted Himself, His authority and work unto God and now, God is "all in all" and here with us, working in us and through us to do His will. His Parousia or Presence happened, and we are to recognize it and apply that truth to our daily lives today. The Holy Spirit does not replace Christ in His absence now. Nor is Jesus a heavenly Comforter (in the heavens) for anyone today. The Holy Spirit was with men in the first century, inspiring them and the writings of theNew Testament are the result. We need nothing else written down for aid or comfort for us in our sorrows.
