Stephen Douglas

Emptying of sheol in ad70? The result of the judgment in ad70? Based on their faithfulness in ad70 the dead were judged? HOW SO? How does something spiritual like judgment take place in the course of time? I would love to see a verse on Douglas sheol suggestion. There has to be at least three deductive points in his line of reasoning.

This almost sounds like Douglas is teaching that there are two different modes of salvation. Which is EXACTLY what the dispys teach. Unless he believes that we too are judged based upon our "faithfulness" instead of by the applied blood of christ's faithfulness.

At the time of the emptying of Sheol as a result of the judgment in AD 70, the living and the those who had died before that time were judged based on their faithfulness to God.
