The BODILY stance of believers then living was in the process of transformation--an action that would not be completed fully until the "end of the age" in A.D. 70. Remember Paul spoke about being changed "from glory to glory"? They were coming out of the "glory" of the Old Covenant mode of existence and being transformed "into glory" of the New Covenant mode of existence."
